Zsuzsanna "Sue" Nagy

Cheshire - Zsuzsanna “Susan” Nagy, 67, passed away on Monday, June 29, 2026, at MidState Medical Center after a sudden, unexpected short illness. She was the loving spouse of Sandor Nagy MD.

Mrs. Nagy was born September 25, 1958, in Nyirbator, Hungary, the daughter of the late Istvan Meszaros, and Zsofia Roman Meszaros. She attended Semmelweis University in Budapest, Hungary, and graduated as a Pharmacist. After their marriage, Sue and Sandor came to the USA in 1983, settling in Fairfield and later Naugatuck, before moving to Cheshire in 1999. She had been a Cheshire resident since. She did not continue as a Pharmacist in the USA but was a busy homemaker. She was kept busy caring for the house, pets, and family. She also enjoyed extensive reading as well as gardening.

Besides her husband of 43 years, Mrs. Nagy is survived by her children, Kevin and Eric Nagy; her brother, Attila Meszaros; as well as her brother and sister-in-law, Peter Nagy and Agnes Smythe.

Arrangements –Visitation will be held on Friday from 3 to 5 pm at the Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Cheshire, 615 S. Main St. At 5 pm, a funeral service will be held. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be made to one's charity of choice.
