He was an integral part of the Cheshire community, actively participating in numerous local committees. For over 30 years, he was a valued member of the Exchange Club of Cheshire, proudly serving three terms as President. He dedicated four years as the chairman of the Cheshire Board of Education and was involved in the Cheshire Beautification Committee. A founding member of the Cheshire Chamber of Commerce, Bill also made his mark on the community as a Board of Directors member for the construction of Nelson Hall at Elim Park, where he later was and integral part of the founding of the Elim Park Foundation. Above all, Bill was a loving family man. Alongside his wife Judy, he created a warm and nurturing home for their children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
