Virginia Sandow

Virginia Sandow, 67, of Cheshire, passed away peacefully on October 19, 2025. Viginia was born on May 15, 1958 in Dover, NJ to the late Nicholas and Mary (Voorhees) Sclafani. 

Over her lifetime, Ginni worked in various jobs including as a bartender, school bus driver and crafter. She enjoyed gardening, coloring and making diamond paintings. More than anything, she loved spending time with her grandchildren. You could often find her volunteering at school activities. She devoted her senior years to helping raise the twins. 

She leaves behind her daughter, Nichol M. Peco; grandchildren, Casey Bonardi and Aubrey and Dylan Peco; great grandchildren, Riley and Emily; and her brother, Joseph Sclafani. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her son, Daniel Bonardi.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on Monday, October 27, 2025 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Alderson-Ford Funeral Home, 615 South Main St., Cheshire, CT. Memorial contributions may be made to Meriden-Wallingford Chrysalis, 14 West Main St., #103, Meriden, CT 06451.
