Naugatuck - Timothy Martin Devine, 67, passed away on Tuesday, September 29, 2026, at his home.

Tim was born July 2, 1959, in Hartford, the son of the late John and Ellen (Birmingham) Devine.

He received an Associate Degree in Computer Sciences from Capitol Community College. Later, his love for horticulture brought him to work for Gilbertie’s Organics Farm in Easton, CT, where he learned to cultivate herbs, flowers, and plants. In recent years, he was employed with CKS Packaging in Naugatuck, CT, where he had been a resident since 2008.

His greatest accomplishment was being a stay-at-home Dad, helping to raise three beautiful children by guiding and educating them into their school-age years.

Tim was a master of words and the King of Puns. He could always make you laugh with his jokes. He loved music and attending all kinds of live concerts with friends and his children.

Tim is survived by his daughter Angela Devine; his son Eamon Devine; his brother Mike Devine; his former wife and the mother of his children Elizabeth Weinshel, his sister-in-law Suzanne Akerley, his nieces Emily Devine, Leah Ward and her husband David Ward, their two daughters, and niece Chelsea Pas.

In addition to his parents, Tim is predeceased by his son Liam; his brothers John and Edward Devine; and his sister Mary Pat Devine.

A private celebration of life will be held on October 18, 2026.
