WATERBURY – Lorraine D. (Buckwalter) Teardo 51, passed away peacefully on Monday, Oct.10,2022

Lorraine was born October 2, 1971 in Norwalk daughter of Daniel and Christine (Simpson) Buckwalter. Lorraine graduated from Naugatuck High School. Lorraine enjoyed cooking, gardening, taking care of & spending time with her family especially her grandchildren. She entertained and loved having her loved ones by her pool. She had a special love for German Shepherds and was an avid Halloween and Nightmare before Christmas and Tim Burton fan.

Besides her parents she leaves behind her sister Renea Tirrell and nephews Cameron and Greyson of Waterbury. Her daughter Alyssa Franklin of Waterbury. Her sons, John Teardo III and his partner Jessica of Waterbury, and Jeremy Teardo and his partner Alexis of Watertown. She also leaves behind Her only granddaughter Raya Teardo; and three grandsons, Isaiah and Zaiden Vasquez, and John Teardo IV all of Waterbury. She had many friends and colleagues whom she loved dearly.

All are asked to join for Calling hours which will be held on Saturday, October 15 from 2-3:30 p.m. at Buckmiller Thurston Mengacci Funeral Home in Naugatuck, a service will begin at 3:30pm followed by a Celebration of life.
