Susan Shaw Crawford

Susan Shaw Crawford, age 75, of Middlebury passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, February 20, 2022. She was the devoted wife of the late Richard John Crawford for 30 years until his passing in 2000. Susan was born on January 22, 1947 in Norwalk, daughter of the late Lester H. and Gertrude (Bigelow) Shaw.

Susan was a member of the Bethel Baptist Church in Prospect. She retired from Southern New England Telephone Co. after 30 years of service.

She is the beloved sister of Lester H. Shaw (Judy)of Warren, Bernice “Bunny” Ulrich of Oceanside, CA and Jane Erdo (Zoli) of Norwalk; and is survived by Matthew and Sara Tylinski, their children, Payton and Robert and their family. Susan was predeceased by her sisters, Barbara Martin and Maryann Edwards.

A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, March 4, 2022 at 12PM at Middlebury Cemetery, Cemetery Road, Middlebury. The Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Naugatuck is assisting with her arrangements.
