Sarah Lynn Longo

Cheshire - Sarah L. Longo, 36, passed away on Sunday, April 27, 2025. She was the wife of Frank Longo.

Sarah was born February 10, 1989, in Waterbury, the daughter of David Lockhart and Martha (Frohn) Scognamiglio.

Besides her husband and parents, Sarah is survived by her son, Alexander Longo; stepdaughters, Gianna and Mia; mother-in-law, Christine Longo; stepfather, Vincent Scognamiglio; brother-in-law, Martin Longo; sister-in-law, Jessica Longo, and her partner, Mark Wotajzek. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and close friends.

Sarah had a way of making people feel accepted and cared for. She showed love not just in words, but in everyday actions- checking in on friends, showing up when it mattered, and offering help without being asked. Her quiet strength and kindness left a lasting impact on those around her, including her clients. The love she put out into the world will continue to live, in the lives she made better just by being a part of them.

Arrangements – Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 4, 2025, from 2 to 5 pm at the Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Cheshire, 615 S. Main St. A Mass of Christian Burial and committal in Calvary Cemetery will be held privately. A scholarship has been established to support future hair stylists to perpetuate Sarah’s legacy. Memorial contributions may be made payable to The Sarah Longo Beauty Fund and can be mailed directly to the funeral home.
