Augusto Santos

Naugatuck-Augusto Martins Santos, 55 of 405 City Hill Street passed away on Monday, March 29, 2010 at St. Mary's Hospital surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Maria Ludovina DeSousa Santos.

Mr. Santos was born on October 20, 1954 in Soutelo Chaves, Portugal a son of the late Anibel Esteves and Maria Adelaide dos Santos. He worked as a mason for Quality Concrete and was a communicant of Our Lady of Fatima Church.

Besides his wife of Naugatuck he is survived by one daughter, Elisabeth Marie dos Santos of Naugatuck, two sisters, Adelaide M. Fontes and Maria Laura Teixeira both of Naugatuck, two brothers, Manuel dos Santos of Naugatuck and Jose M. Santos of Waterbury and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be held on Tuesday, April 6, 2010 at 9:15 a.m. from the Buckmiller Brothers Funeral Home, 26 Waterbury Rd, Rte. 69, Prospect to Our Lady of Fatima Church for a mass at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be in All Saints Cemetery in Waterbury. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday evening from 5-8 p.m.
