Naugatuck - Rose S. Gallo, 94, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 22, 2026, at VITAS at St. Mary's Hospital. She was the wife of the late Carmen Gallo.

Rose was born May 5, 1932, in Waterbury, CT, the daughter of the late John and Mary (Moruska) Sigetti. She was a Key Punch Operator at Uniroyal Footwear Division as well as Ansonia Copper and Brass. In her later years, she was a valued member of the B & G Sports family.

She is survived by her son Thomas (Kimberly) Gallo; her daughter, Donna (Matthew) Brunyansky; her grandchildren, Sarah (Keith) Laughner, Adam (Kimberly) Gallo, Justin (Christina) Brunyansky and Michael (Lindsay) Gallo; her great grandchildren, Abigail and Lucy Gallo; Richard and Brooks Gallo; Sierra, Kennedy and Jordyn Laughner and Jayson Brunyansky; as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Rose was predeceased by her brothers, John, Charles, Michael, Lawrence, and George; her sisters Mary and Elizabeth.

Arrangements – Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 26, 2026, from 9 to 10:30 am at the Buckmiller Ford Mengacci Funeral Home, 82 Fairview Ave., Naugatuck. At 10:30, the funeral procession will proceed to St. Francis of Assisi Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 11am. Burial will follow at St. James Cemetery at 12:15 PM in Naugatuck, Connecticut.
