Ronald P. Anderson

Naugatuck - Ronald P. Anderson, 79, passed away on Tuesday, December 2, 2025, at Griffin Hospital. He was the husband of the late Lori (Fenn) Anderson.

Ron was born August 10, 1946, in New Britain, the son of the late Paul and Doris (Johnson) Anderson. He was a lifelong Naugatuck resident, graduating from Naugatuck High School, Class of 1964. He was the Operations Manager for Waste Management until his retirement in 2013. A Vietnam War Army veteran, Ron, defended his country by working with bomb sniffing dogs.

He is survived by his Grandchildren, Courtney Bailey and Zachary Rozanski, as well as his sisters-in-law, many nieces and nephews as well as his good friend Bob, who helped Ron in his later years.

His family would like to thank Griffin Hospital for their great care and support of Ron.

Arrangements – Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 7, 2025, from 1 to 3 pm at the Buckmiller Ford Mengacci Funeral Home, 82 Fairview Ave., Naugatuck. Burial with military honors will be held in Grove Cemetery at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O.
