Robert Stewart Huston Parr

CHESHIRE- Robert Stewart Huston Parr, 76, passed away Saturday, June 17, 2023 at Civita Care Center at Cheshire. He was the devoted and beloved husband of Marcia (Fujino) Parr. Bob was born March 15, 1947 in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, son of the late Elburn and Isabel (McTavish) Parr.

Growing up, he was an avid skier and hockey player. Throughout his life, he dedicated time to coaching youth hockey, volunteering at church, and cheering on his kids in all of their activities. Bob always remained a kid at heart and brought laughter wherever he went. He retired from endeavors in the jewelry industry and later again in construction and restoration. He lived thoroughly, and loved his family fiercely.

In addition to his wife of 46 years, Bob leaves behind his loving daughters, Amanda Parr of North Branford, Connecticut, and Stacy Parr of Durango, Colorado, and his sister, Bonnie Parr of Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Bobob, as they liked to call him, will also be greatly missed by his adoring grandchildren, Quincy and Jeremiah Taylor of North Branford, Connecticut.

His family would like to express their deep gratitude to the staff at Midstate Medical Center and Civita Care Center at Cheshire for their compassionate care during Bob's time there.

Arrangements – Funeral services and burial will be held at the convenience of the family and there are no calling hours.
