Rita M. Cashin

Seymour - Rita M. Cashin, 94, passed away February 12, 2026.

Mrs. Cashin was born April 3, 1931, in Waterbury, CT to Max and Grace (Impresa) Darm. She was the widow of the late Edward F. Cashin and attended St. Francis Catholic Church.

She is survived by her three sons Edward L. (Rose) of Bethany, Michael, and Kenneth (Stephanie), of CA; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; her sister Carol Santoro; as well as her brother, George Darm (Ann). In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by her sister, Audrey Bruce, and her brother, Alan Darm.

Arrangements – A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, April 10th, at 10 am at St. Francis of Assisi Church in Naugatuck. The Buckmiller Ford Mengacci Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.
