Lawrence Read

Prospect-Lawrence A. Read, 65, passed away on Thursday, October 17, 2013.
Mr. Read was born on July 28, 1948 in Waterbury a son of the late Sydney Read and Vlasta (Bares) Read. He worked at DaVita Dialysis Center in Waterbury for many years.
He is survived by one sister, Valerie Mercuri, his best friends, Ray, Jeannine, and Megan Santos, his cousins, Frank and Roberta Griffin, Brian and Kelley Murdy, Rick Griffin, Roger and Nancy Picard, Ralph and Pat Buonocore, Fred and Diane Dube, and Barbara Rief, his special Friends, Marlene Moranino, Meg Montanaro, Terry Reilly, Jerri Kastoff, Carol Marcella, Janice Clark, Bill and Rita Lavorna.
Besides his parents he was predeceased by his brothers, Donald and Charles.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 25, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Prospect Congregational Church, 25 Center St, Prospect. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours and the Buckmiller Brothers Funeral Home, 26 Waterbury Rd, Rte. 69, Prospect is in charge of the arrangements.
