Lucrecia Ramirez

Waterbury, CT Lucrecia Ramirez, 84, died Friday, July 1, 2023 at Cheshire House.

Lucrecia was born April 17, 1939 in Cali, Colombia. She lived in Waterbury for the past 25 years, having formerly lived in Naugatuck, where she was a former employee of the Naugatuck Glass Company.

Lucrecia is survived by her son, Alejandro “Alex” Ramirez of Naugatuck; her grandchildren, Isabela Zielinski, Alexys Ramirez and Christopher Ramirez and several nieces and nephews. Lucrecia was predeceased by her daughter in law, Andrea Ramirez and all of her brothers and sisters.

Family and friends will gather to celebrate Lucrecia’s life on Friday, August 11, 2023 from 5-7pm at the Buckmiller Thurston Mengacci Funeral Home, 82 Fairview Avenue, Naugatuck.
