Concetta Piazza,92, of Phoenix, AZ formerly of Naugatuck, passed away on Sunday,October 11, 2009. She was the widow of Luke Piazza.
Mrs. Piazza was born in Naugatuck on October 6, 1917 the daughter of the late Thomas and Anna (Scarano) Gallucci.
She attended schools in Naugatuck and moved to Phoenix in l987.
She is survived by her sisters Christine Gallucci, Amelia Viola Cirio of Phoenix, AZ and Ann Sweeney of Woodbury, one brother, Donald Gallucci of Phoenix, AZ and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 13, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at St. James Cemetery, Cross Street, Naugatuck. There are no calling hours and the Buckmiller Brothers Funeral Home, 82 Fairview Ave, Naugatuck is in charge of arrangements.
