Waterbury, CT    Vincenza (Llorens) Perrella,100, a longtime resident of Waterbury,
   
   passed away peacefully at the Lutheran Home of Southbury on September 19,
   
   2023.  Vincenza, “Vinnie”, was the wife of the late Joseph Perrella for 68 years. She graduated from
   
   Barnard School and Waterbury Catholic High School.
   
   
   She was a parishioner of St. Patrick's Church and a member of its Ladies Guild for many years. Vinnie
   
   enjoyed traveling with her beloved Joe. She also loved music, singing & dancing, poetry and walking
   
   outdoors in nature. She is known by her family for the ethnic culinary delights she loved preparing for us
   
   at family meals.
   
   
   Vinnie leaves three daughters, Karen Perrella of Waterbury, Patricia Krukowski of Cheshire, and Lois
   
   Perrella of Southbury; two granddaughters, Katherine Krukowski and Kara Krukowski, both of Cheshire.
   
   She also leaves several nieces and nephews. Vinnie was predeceased by her husband Joseph, her
   
   brother, Michael Santoro, and her sisters, Rose Triano. Angeline Gejda, and Antoinette Marcucci; her
   
   son in-law, Joseph Krukowski; and her dear friend Marie Orlando.
   
   
   The family would like to extend our deep gratitude to the Lutheran Home of Southbury for its
   
   care of our mother. We wish as well to express our heartfelt appreciation to VITAS of St. Mary's
   
   Hospital for their role in Vinnie's hospice care.
   
   
   Services are private at Vinnie's request. Burial is at Calvary Cemetery in Waterbury.  We ask that in lieu
   
   of flowers, and to honor Vinnie’s memory, contributions in her name be made to Special Olympics,
   
   (donorservices@specialolympics.org). Arrangements are entrusted to the Buckmiller Thurston Mengacci
   
   Funeral Home, 82 Fairview Avenue, Naugatuck, CT.
