Paul Fecteau

Middlebury - Paul Fecteau, 77, passed away on Thursday, April 25, 2024, at Waterbury Hospital. He was the husband of Barbara (Gilnack) Fecteau. 

Paul was born July 20, 1946, in Eugene, OR, the son of the late Lucien and Marion (Byron) Fecteau. He graduated from Wilcox High School and was a Machinist for Pratt and Whitney for 47 years.  

He was an avid and well-known shooter with small bore as well as high-powered rifles and was a member and coached the Middlebury Rifle Club. Paul was a member of St. George's Episcopal Church and enjoyed baking and making gingerbread villages.

Besides his wife of 38 years, Paul is survived by his sons Michael Fecteau and his wife Brittany and Kevin Fecteau and his wife Amber; his sister Mary Johnson and her husband Russ; his brother Richard Fecteau; his brother-in-law Gary Devins; his grandchildren Emma, Milo, and Bodi Fecteau; and three nephews and four nieces. In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his sister Evelyn Devins.

Arrangements – Visitation for Paul will be held on Sunday, May 5, 2024, from 3 to 5 pm at the Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Naugatuck, 201 Meadow St. His funeral procession will depart the funeral home Monday morning at 10:30 and proceed to St. George's Episcopal Church for a funeral service at 11 am. Burial will follow in Lake Elise Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to St. George's Episcopal Church, 393 Tucker Hill Rd., Middlebury, CT 06762.
