Patricia Geletka

Naugatuck - Patricia Mary Geletka, 90, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 1, 2026, at UCONN Health at Waterbury Hospital surrounded by her family. She was the wife of the late John Geletka, who passed away in 2004.

Mrs. Geletka was born April 11, 1936, in Waterbury, the daughter of the late Howard and Helen Tarrant Hall. She was a lifelong Naugatuck resident, where she raised her four children.

She is survived by her children Cynthia Pineda (Jose), John Geletka (Donna), Cheryl Poirier, and Christopher Geletka (Eileen); her grandchildren Dona’t Poirier (Stephanie), Alida Maldonado, Ryan Geletka, and Nicole Abbott; and her very special friend Tracey Hunt.

Arrangements – Visitation will be held on Friday, July 10, 2026, from 9 am until 10:30 am at the Buckmiller Ford Mengacci Funeral Home of Naugatuck, 82 Fairview Ave. At 10:30, her funeral procession will proceed from the funeral home to St. Francis of Assisi Church for a Mass at 11 am. Burial will follow in Grove Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to your local animal shelter.
