Omshankar Doddamane

Omshankar Doddamane, 91, of Cheshire, beloved husband of Prema Doddamane, passed away on August 24, 2025 surrounded by his family. He was born on May 5, 1934 in Shimoga, India, to the late Gangamma and Gurupadappa.

His education included Electrical Enginering at Banglore Univeristy, and worked at HAL. He was dedicated to his family and profession. He enjoyed boweling.

Along with his wife Prema, Omshankar leaves behind his son, Santosh, daughter-in-law Indukala Doddamane, and grandchildren, Pranathi and Sunaina Santosh and siblings, Leela and Jayamma Doddamane: and many extended family and friends.

A Service will take place on August 27, 2025 at 8 a.m. at the Alderson-Ford Funeral Home, 615 South Main St., Cheshire, CT. A calling hour will begin at 9 a.m. and will conclude at 10 a.m., after which immediate family will process to the crematory for final disposition.
