Mary Jean Miller
Naugatuck-Mary Jean Miller, 74, passed away on October 12, 2013 at Waterbury Hospital surrounded by her loving family.
Mary Jean was born on July 3, 1939 in Plumville, PA a daughter of the late William F. McCurdy and Mary A. (Vendur) McCurdy. She was retired from Risdon Corp. where she worked for many years.
She is survived by one daughter, Dawn (Thomas) Stabler of Naugatuck and one son, Paul E. (Jo-Ann) Miller Jr. of Naugatuck, two sisters, Alfreda Goldinger of Brockway, PA and Dorothea Potts of Brockway, PA, two brothers, George McCurdy of Ridgeway, PA and William McCurdy Jr. of Ridgeway, PA. She will also be missed by seven grandchildren, Phillip, Rachel, Alexander, Chris, Paul, Tim, and Tyler, four great-grandchildren, Brielle, Evan, Elizabeth and Isabelle as well as several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by one sister, Donna Pisarcik.
The funeral will be held on Wednesday, October 16, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. at the Buckmiller Brothers Funeral Home, 82 Fairview Ave, Naugatuck. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday evening from 5:00 p.m. until the time of service.
