Michael Santarsiere

NAUGATUCK- Mr. Michael E. Santarsiere, 67 of Naugatuck, passed away unexpectedly Friday morning April 10, 2015 at his home.

Michael was born in Naugatuck, Dec. 12, 1947, a son of the late Michael and Mary (Larow) Santarsiere and served in the U.S. Merchant Marine for a number of years, traveling throughout the world. He later had been employed in Montana, California and Belize, in Central America. Following his retirement, he returned to Naugatuck 4 years ago.

He is survived by his sister, Jean Santarsiere, of Waterbury and a brother Gary Santarsiere of Naugatuck and 3 nephews, Steven Keyser, Michael Santarsiere, and Erik Santarsiere Following Michaels’ wishes, all services will be private at the convenience of the family . The Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Naugatuck, is assisting the family with the arrangements.
