David Mccann

Waterbury-David K. McCann, 57, formerly of Naugatuck where he lived most of his life passed away on Saturday, October 12, 2013 at Paradigm Healthcare Center of Prospect surrounded by his loving family.

David was born on September 10, 1956 in Waterbury a son of the late Marshall McCann and Frances Kimball-Hernandez of Waterbury . He was a graduate of Naugatuck High School class of 1977.

Besides his mother Frances he is survived by three sisters, Marcia (Robert) Vidler, Bonnie Newvine, and, Linda McCann, two brothers, Terrence McCann and Kevin McCann all of Waterbury. He will also be missed by several cousins, aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by a sister, Cheryl Larson.

The family would like to give special thanks to Paradigm Healthcare of Prospect and also to Hospice VITAS for the care they gave David during this difficult time.

A memorial mass will be held on Tuesday, October 22, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 309 South Main St, Waterbury. Everyone is asked to meet directly at the church. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours and the Buckmiller Brothers Funeral Home, 26 Waterbury Rd, Rte. 69, Prospect is in charge of the arrangements.
