Mary Piccirillo

Torrington, Connecticut: Mary V. Piccirillo, a beloved mother, wife, daughter, sister, and friend, passed away on Friday, February 27, 2026, at Hartford Hospital. She was a woman of deep strength, unwavering love, and quiet grace. Her presence filled every room with warmth, and her love for her family was the foundation of her life. She was the wife of Lionel Webb.

Mrs. Piccirillo was born February 5, 1959, in Bridgeport, and is the daughter of the late Boyce and Gladys Caulder. Mrs. Piccirillo grew up in Stratford, Connecticut, and graduated from Bunnell High School in the Class of 1977.

Above all else, Mary was a devoted mother to her seven children, and her world revolved entirely around them. Before becoming a mother, she worked as a banker, a career she was passionate about and truly loved. Once her children came along, she made the selfless decision to become a school bus driver so she could be present for her family. With weekends, school vacations, holidays, and summers off, she was able to give her children the irreplaceable gift of her time, something she valued more than anything. She proudly drove a school bus for over twenty years and was happiest knowing she could balance work while being fully there for her family. One of her greatest dreams was to one day open a family restaurant alongside her children, Piccirillo’s Pizzeria.

Her heart only grew larger with the arrival of her grandchildren, who brought her endless pride and happiness. She expressed her love best in the kitchen and through cooking. She was simply the best cook, and feeding her family was one of her greatest joys. She found peace in tending to her flowers, joy in her garden, and pure happiness floating in her pool, surrounded by the people she loved most.

Survivors include her husband, Lionel Webb. Her devoted children, Michael Piccirillo (Becky), Justin Piccirillo (Sara), Nicholas Piccirillo (Gina), Ryan Piccirillo (Alana), Kyle Piccirillo (Mary Kate), Garrett Piccirillo (Jacee), and Angelina Sarillo (Taylor). Her step-children, Michael Webb, Carrie Webb, Jason Webb, Richard Webb, Jessica Webb, and Timothy Webb. 13 cherished grandchildren, Gabriella, Colton, Rayleigh, Bryce, Rowan,

Madelyn, Harper, Nicholas, Hannah, Eliana, Giavanna, Isabella, and Joseph. 8 step grandchildren, Gaige, Jayden, Chris, Nel, Aurora, Tim, Cayden, and Mike. Her siblings Rudy Caulder (Gibby), Timothy Caulder, Colleen Dechane (Todd), Jeff Caulder, and Legrand Caulder.

In addition to her parents, Mary was predeceased by her sister, Virginia Caulder.

She will be remembered for her kind heart and generosity, her ability to make others feel seen, cared for, and safe, and the way she put those she loved above all else.
