CHESHIRE- Mary Helen Atkins, 61, passed away Friday, April 17, 2020 at St. Mary’s Hospital. She was predeceased by her son Jason Charles Atkins.
She was born July 8, 1958 in Waterbury, daughter to Charles Sr. and the late Patricia (Maunsell) Caron.
Ms. Atkins was a Registered Nurse in Homecare prior to her retirement.
She is survived by her two brothers Charles Jr. and his wife Debra Caron, and Michael and his wife Patricia Caron both of Cheshire; her niece, and nephews Charles III, William, Caitlin, and Michael; and her former husband Richard Atkins.
A private graveside service will be held in Cheshire Hillside Cemetery. The Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Cheshire, 615 South Main St, 06410, is assisting the family with the arrangements. Donations in her name can be made to the American Heart Association, 5 Brookside Dr, Wallingford, CT 06492, or a charity of one’s choice.
