Marvin Deutsch

Mr. Marvin Deutsch, 93 of Wolcott, passed away Tuesday June 4, 2024 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Waterbury. He was the husband of the late Betsy (Halberstam) Deutsch.

Marvin was born October 18, 1930 in Derby, a son of the late Abraham and Ida (Comen) Deutsch and had lived in Wolcott for many years moving there from Waterbury. He was a graduate of Crosby High School in Waterbury. Marvin was a toolmaker and foreman at WCES retiring after many years of service. He had also work at Waterbury Press Metals. Marvin proudly served in the United Staes Navy during the Korean War and was a member of B’nai Israel in Southbury.

Marvin leaves his daughter Caren Menard and her husband James of Wolcott, his sister Anita Barkan of Stamford, his granddaughter Erin Menard of Wolcott and many nieces and nephews.

A  graveside service will be held Friday June 7, 2024 at 3:00p.m. in Waterbury Hebrew Benefit Cemetery.
