Marilou F. Wiese, 85, passed away peacefully December 25, 2020 at The Hospital of Central Connecticut- New Britain General Campus. She was the widow of Richard “Turk” E. Wiese who predeceased her in 2007 after 24 years of marriage.
Mrs. Wiese was born February 10, 1935 in Waterbury, daughter of the late Ray and Madeline (Sullivan) Ford.
Marilou was Store Manager at the Dumouchel Paper Company prior to her retirement. In her free time, she loved to camp, visit Popham Beach in Maine, and watch NASCAR where she was an avid Dale Sr. & Jr. fan, along with UCONN Women’s Basketball.
Mrs. Wiese is survived by her children Deb Honyotski of Cheshire, Judy and her husband Vincent Golia Sr. of Southington, Daniel and his wife Luz Honyotski of Clearwater, FL, Jim and his wife Dora Honyotski of Fairfield, and grandchildren Lauren, Rachel, Kelsey, and Raegan Honyotski; Erica and Vincent Golia Jr.; and her great grandson Caleb Jenks.
Services for Marilou will be private and at the convenience of the family, and a private burial will be held in St. James Cemetery. The Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Cheshire, 615 South Main St, 06410, is assisting the family with the arrangements. In lieu of flowers, donations in Mrs. Wiese’s name can be made to the Cheshire Community Food Pantry, 175 Sandbank Rd, Cheshire, CT 06410 or to ASPCA, PO Box 96929, Washington DC, 20090.
