Marie L. Dunn

Prospect - Marie L. Dunn, 97, passed away on Sunday, August 24, 2025, at Beacon Brook Health Center. She was the wife of the late John (Jack) Dunn.

Mrs. Dunn was born December 6, 1927, in Derby, the daughter of the late Frank and Rose (Burns) Larkin. She was raised in Seymour with her brothers Frank, Tom, and Joe, all of whom predeceased her. She was also a former resident of Naugatuck and Cheshire. Her work life was mainly at Uniroyal as a Key Punch Operator, but her heart was always with her home and family life. She truly enjoyed caring for her grandsons and great-grandsons, family trips to Maine, attending sporting events of her children, and watching and feeding backyard birds. She was also an accomplished chocolate chip cake baker.

She is survived by her daughter Karen Dunn and her family (Cecilia, Stephanie, Ken, Lincoln, Stephen, & Nayo, her grandsons and their families, Tony, (Mary-Ann, Nick, Jaxon, Levi) DiDomizio, Tim (Cari, Alisa, Chase) DiDomizio, Sean (Michele) Dunn, her son-in-law Tom DiDomizio, as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, husband, and brothers, she is predeceased by her daughter Joanne DiDomizio, her son John Dunn, and her grandson Tommy DiDomizio.

Marie’s family would like to thank the heroes at Beacon Brook Health Center for their care and comfort of her during her stay there.

Arrangements – Funeral services and committal will be held at the convenience of the family in St. James Cemetery, Naugatuck and there are no calling hours.
