Margaret Mary "Peggy" Valencis

Mrs. Margaret Mary “Peggy” (O’Dea) Valencis, 93 of Cheshire passed away Monday May 6, 2024 at her home surrounded by her family. She was the wife of the late Walter J. Valencis.

Peggy was born July 2, 1930 in Waterbury, a daughter of the late Michael and Nellie (Bresnahan) O’Dea and was a longtime Cheshire resident. She was a graduate of Sacred Heart High School and of the former Mattatuck Community College earning her degree in accounting. Peggy worked for many years in the accounting field. She was a member of the Red Hat Society and was a Communicant of Saint Bridget of Sweden Parish in Cheshire.

Peggy leaves her daughters, Patricia Valencis and Janet Valencis and her husband Dennis Dell’Accio, her grandchildren Maggie Kiesel and Michael Dell'Accio and his wife Caitlyn and Douglas Dell’Accio and his wife Ashley and her great grandchildren, Vincent, Grace, Luciana, Eloise, Carmine and Annie.
