Margaret Nette

CHESHIRE- Margaret Nette, 94, passed away on Thursday, January 21, 2021, at the Regency House of Wallingford. She was the loving wife of Joseph Nette to whom she was married for 73 years.

Mrs. Nette was born January 18, 1927, in Stamford; the daughter of the late Mark and Theresa (Boccuzzi) Dellaripa, of Stamford.

Margaret was a Bookkeeper at her family’s business, Bridge Garage, in Westport for over 30 years prior to her retirement. She enjoyed bowling, ceramics, and baking.

Besides her husband, Mrs. Nette is survived by her children Beverly Cristino and her husband Joseph of Cheshire, Brenda Nette-Metcalf of Cheshire, and William Nette and his wife Sonia of Newport Richey, FL; a sister Elizabeth Maul of Darien; five grandchildren: John J. Hilzinger, Krista Ostuno, Rene Metcalf, William M. Nette, and Scott J. Nette; and four great grandchildren: Todd J. Fournier, Ryan Fournier, Dominic Ostuno, and Dillon Ostuno. Margaret was predeceased by her sister Gloria Furano, of Stamford.

A private graveside service for Mrs. Nette will be held at Cheshire St. Cemetery. The Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Cheshire, 615 South Main St, is assisting the family with the arrangements.
