It is with profound sadness that the family of Marcia Mongelluzzo announces her passing on March 28, 2026, at the age of 64, following a long and courageous battle with cancer. She was surrounded by her loving family while embraced in her loving husband‘s arms.
Marcia was a lifelong resident of Cheshire and a devoted wife, sister, sister-in-law, aunt, and friend.
She will be deeply missed by her husband of more than 40 years, Michael Mongelluzzo. Together, they were affectionately known as the “M&M’s,” inseparable and truly soulmates.
Marcia brought light and warmth wherever she went, and the world feels a little dimmer without her. She lived life fully, loving deeply, thinking thoughtfully, laughing wholeheartedly, and working tirelessly. Marcia was not someone you slowly came to know; she was someone you encountered with full force. She had a remarkable gift for making herself at home anywhere, striking up conversations with ease and turning strangers into friends in an instant.
She embraced life without hesitation, never holding back or waiting for the “right” moment. She lived boldly, wholeheartedly, and without compromise.
We will forever miss the sound of her voice, the joy in her laughter, the way of turning even your hardest days into something meaningful—less like a failure and more like a journey you could endure and overcome. Though she is no longer with us, she will forever remain in our hearts.
In addition to her husband and her two fur babies Franny and Barnie, Marcia is survived by her siblings Harold (Cheryl), and Donn (Patricia); her brother-in-laws Gary Mongelluzzo, Anthony Mongelluzzo; her sister-in-law‘s Jo Ann Kriedel (Paul Remington), Mary Ann Dawson (John), Shaun Kriedel (Sarah), Bianca Dawson, Kayla Kriedel (Kevin), Blake Dawson; her nephews and nieces Jeffrey Youngquist (Heather), Erin Rosa (Michael), Patrick Youngquist, Johnny Youngquist (Jessica), Amanda Mills (Eric), Adam Youngquist; her grand nephews and nieces Sean Youngquist, Ella Youngquist, Ceianna Cole, and Sloane Mills, Jase Frederick-Dawson, Cameron Kreidel, and Jamison Kriedel. In addition to her parents, Marcia is preceded by her brother Robert Youngquist and her nephew Robert Youngquist, Jr.
Arrangements – A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at the convenience of the family at St. Bridget Church, and there are no calling hours. Memorial contributions may be made to your favorite charity in Marcia’s honor.
