Sandra Laporta

Prospect - Mrs. Sandra (Jannetty) LaPorta, age 70, of 24 Wagon Wheel Drive, died Thursday December 31,2009 at the Paradigm Health Care Center in Waterbury after a long illness.

Mrs. LaPorta was born in Waterbury on August 13, 1939 a daughter of Ann ( Nocera ) Jannetty of Wolcott View Manor and the late Louis Jannetty. She was a graduate of Wilby High School and was employed for many years as a real estate agent. She was a communicant of St. Anthony's Roman Catholic Church in Prospect and was a member of the Board of Realtors.

Besides her Mother, Mrs. LaPorta is survived by four daughters: Michele Sheehan of Prospect, Monica LaPorta of Prospect, Marissa Berardis of Watertown and Micole Thornton of Meriden, one sister: Janet Berardo of Chicago, Il., one brother: Dominic Jannetty of Prospect, and eight grandchildren.

A funeral mass will be held on Saturday January 2,2010 at 11 a.m. at St. Anthony's Roman Catholic Church 4 Union City Rd. Prospect. Burial in Prospect Cemetery. There are no calling hours. The Buckmiller Brothers Funeral Home 26 Waterbury Rd. Route 69 Prospect is in charge of arrangements.
