Naugatuck - Karen E. Daly, 81, passed away on Tuesday, September 8, 2026, at the home of her son. She was the wife of the late William E. Daly Sr.

Karen was born December 29, 1944, in Bridgeport, the daughter of the late Carl and Virginia (Carlson) Headford. She was raised in Stratford, graduating from Bunnell High School, Class of 1962.

Karen enjoyed many of life’s simple pleasures, including golfing, quilting, and knitting. She was also highly skilled in bookkeeping and played an integral role in the family business, contributing her time and talents with dedication. Karen and the late William Sr. were longtime members of the Naugatuck Rotary Club, in which they opened their home, hosting multiple exchange students.

She is survived by her sons William (Susanne) Daly Jr. and Mark Daly; her sister Nancy Headford; as well as her grandchildren Madison (Dylan) Hovey, William, Jillian and Esther Daly, Samuel Niesobecki, and Issac Ribeiro. In addition to her husband and her parents, she is predeceased by her son Michael and her brother Stuart Headford.

Arrangements – A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 12, 2026, at 1 pm at the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 406 White Plains Rd., Trumbull. Committal services will be held at the convenience of the family in St. Michael Cemetery, and there are no calling hours. Memorial contributions may be made to the Naugatuck Rotary Club, P.O.
