Julieta "Vita" Maria Frantsve

Julieta Maria Frantsve, 86, of Park Ridge, IL, peacefully passed away on April 21, 2024 at her new home in Cheshire, Connecticut surrounded by her loving family. Julieta was married to the late Dennis John Frantsve for 49 years. She was born on January 10, 1938 in San José, Costa Rica to the late Arturo Chacón Monge and Belarmina Mora Ceciliano Chacón.

For almost three decades, Julie opened her heart and home to countless children, becoming a beloved figure in her community. Julie’s daycare was more than just a place of care; it was a sanctuary where children thrived under her care. With her endless patience and love, she not only nurtured their bodies but also their minds and spirits. She touched the lives of not only the children she cared for but also their families, who entrusted her with their most precious treasures. In addition to her dedication to childcare, Julie was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She cherished her family above all else, finding joy in spending time with her loved ones and creating lasting memories together.

Julie is survived by her loving children and grandchildren: Lisa Frantsve-Little (Bryan Little) and their daughter Alana; Julie Frantsve-Hawley (Brad Hawley) and their children, Mackenzie and Kyden; and Dennis Frantsve (Maria de Lourdes Frantsve) and their children Dennis, Lexy and Camila. She was the youngest of 16 brothers and sisters and was the last surviving sibling. Julie left behind one niece, Michelle, in La Grange Park, IL and dozens of nieces and nephews in Costa Rica.

Funeral services and burial will be held at a later date in Park Ridge, IL. Memorial contributions may be made to: Ronald McDonald House https://rmhc.org/donate.
