Judith A. Beardsley, 85, passed away peacefully on May 7, 2026, at Ashlar Village in Wallingford, Connecticut. Judy was the daughter of Florence and Thomas Skehan. She was born in Naugatuck and attended local schools before graduating from Fisher Junior College in Boston.
Judy worked as an executive secretary for Timex and later worked in the library at Naugatuck High School, a position she truly loved because of the opportunity to work with and interact with students.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 61 years, Kenneth, whom she met in kindergarten. She is also survived by her son, Kenneth Jr., and his wife, Diana; her two grandsons, Kenneth and Timothy; her siblings, Thomas Skehan and his wife, Elaine, Eileen Dooling, and Mary Ann Sigworth and her husband, William; her sister-in-law, Susan Ash, and her husband, Anthony; along with several nieces and nephews.
Judy was a devoted daughter, sister, wife, mother, and grandmother. She especially cherished her role as a grandmother. Judy and Ken loved traveling the world together and spending time with their family at Cape Cod.
