CHESHIRE- Jennifer Katelyn Killea, 27, passed away Tuesday, February 28, 2023 at her home in Cheshire.

Jennifer Killea was born August 9, 1995, in Arlington Heights, IL., daughter of Paul and Katherine Winslow Killea. She was a 2013 graduate of Cheshire High School.

In addition to her parents, Jennifer or “Jenny” as she was fondly called, leaves behind her brother, Liam Killea of Cheshire. She will also be missed by her Aunts and Uncles, Anne Winslow and Frances Henderson, Mark and Katie Winslow. Kathy and Alex Peyer, Frank and Kay Killea, Peter Killea and girlfriend Stephanie Vallis, Michael and Sandy Killea, and Kevin and Kathy Killea, in addition to her Step Grandmother Sarah Winslow, Step Uncle Ashley Wooten, and Step Aunts Catherine Wooten and Liz Antaya, as well as her 15 loving cousins. She was predeceased by her Grandfather Donald Winslow, and Grandmother Genevieve Winslow, and Grandfather William J Killea III and Grandmother Eileen Killea.

Jennifer had a strong will and a passion for life. She had many gifts as an Artist, Writer, Model, and she loved animals with her whole heart. She was an outstanding Horseback Rider having participated in equestrian events at a young age. Jennifer preferred riding Arabian Horses which she leased for several years. She was often referred to as a “Horse Whisperer” as her connection to horses was very deep and she had a unique way of communicating and bonding with horses. She was an aficionado and collector of Carousel Horses. Jennifer was also an entrepreneur as she ran her own online Crystal and then Beta Fish business over the years. She adored her Cats Leo, Max, Ace and Mittens, as well as her love for Kitty Lou. Jennifer loved traveling to New York to spend time with friends and participate in the arts. She was a very talented writer and produced some amazing Rap music under the name “JKillah”. Jennifer was excited with her plans to record more music.

Jennifer had a tender heart and she loved fiercely. Her passion will be sorely missed by her entire family and friends.

Arrangements: Services for Jennifer Killea will be private, and burial will be at the convenience of her family.  There are no calling hours and The Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Cheshire is assisting with her arrangements.
