CHESHIRE- Jeffrey Allen Gorski, 71, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 7th, 2022. He was the loving and devoted husband of Brenda (David) Gorski.
Jeff Gorski was born August 20, 1950 in Bristol, CT, son of the late Thaddeus and Marion (Dalger) Gorski. He was a retired mechanical engineer, certified tool and die maker, and plant manager. Jeff was also a Masonic Pastmaster of Temple Lodge #16, and a District Commissioner and assistant Scoutmaster for the Boy Scouts of America Troop 90.
Above all else, he was a husband and father whose heart was dedicated to his family and to the growth and benefit of his community. He was an enthusiast of skiing, fishing, baseball, and many outdoor adventures.
In addition to his wife Brenda of 44 years, he is survived by his three sons, Scott Gorski of Southington, CT, Gregory Gorski and his wife Lisa (Parillo) Gorski of New Haven, CT, Jeffrey Gorski and his wife Gemmina (Magnano) Gorski of Middletown, CT, brother Raymond Gorski and his wife Gloria of Southington, CT, sisters Patty (Gorski) Leuchtenberger and Sue Gorski of New Freedom, PA, grandchildren Carter Allen Gorski and Stella Grace Gorski, and his many beloved nieces and nephews.
The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to the staff of Grandview Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center of New Britain for their dedicated care of Jeff for the last 3 years.
A Mass of Christian Burial in Celebration of Jeff’s life will be held on Monday, March 14, 2022 at 10:00 AM at St. Bridget of Sweden Parish/ St. Thomas Becket Church, 435 North Brooksvale Rd, Cheshire CT. Burial will follow at St. Bridget Cemetery. There are no calling hours, and the Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Cheshire is assisting with arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made in Jeff’s name to the Lewy Body Association at LBDA.org in the effort to fund research and raise awareness of the disease.
