Jean McSweet

Cheshire - Jean McSweet, 76, passed away on Friday, May 30, 2025, at MidState Medical Center. She was the wife of the late Arthur McSweet.

Jean was born July 6, 1948, in Southington, the daughter of the late Donald and Judy (Buechele) Gode. She had worked for the Town of Cheshire in the Building Official’s office.

Jean is survived by her sisters Barbara Wiles and Peggy Malmberg (Ron); her brother Ken Gode (Sonya). In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her brothers David and Peter Gode.

Arrangements – Funeral services and burial in Cheshire Hillside Cemetery will be held at the convenience of the family and there are no calling hours. The Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Cheshire is assisting with arrangements.
