Janice B. Ulrichsen

Naugatuck - Janice Ulrichsen, 86, passed away on Wednesday, December 10, 2025, at the Glendale Center. She was the wife of the late Richard Ulrichsen.

Mrs. Ulrichsen was born July 29, 1939, in Waterbury, the daughter of the late Patrick and Helen (Shea) Buckley. She was a longtime Naugatuck resident where she was a communicant of St. Francis of Assisi Church. She graduated from Naugatuck High School in 1957 and was employed at the Risdon Manufacturing Company. After her time at Risdon, she started her own printing company Sharp Office Services.

She is survived by her son Kevin Ulrichsen and his wife Beth; her grandchildren Sarah and Erik Ulrichsen; her sister Hazel Danby; as well as many nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and her parents, she is predeceased by her siblings Helen (Buckley) Laone, Lorraine (Buckley) Robbins, Raymond Buckley, Edmond Buckley, and Dennis Buckley.

Arrangements – Visitation will be held on Monday, December 15, 2025 from 5 to 7 pm at the Buckmiller Ford Mengacci Funeral Home, 82 Fairview Ave. On Tuesday, her funeral procession will leave the funeral home at 9:30 am and proceed to St. Francis Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am.
