CHESHIRE – Jacqueline I. Parker, 89, passed away peacefully at Mid-State Medical Center on Tuesday, January 4, 2022. She was the wife of the late John B. Parker.

Mrs. Parker was born on July 18, 1932, in Ridley Park, PA., the daughter of the late John W. and Marjorie (Mathers) Iliff. She attended William Smith College in Geneva New York, where she played field hockey, was also an avid tennis player and an active member of the Cheshire Women’s Club. She was also a devoted wife and mother to her husband and sons.

Mrs. Parker is survived by sons, Steven Parker, of Framingham, MA, David Parker of Cheshire, CT; daughter in law Pamela Parker, granddaughter Amanda Marshall, her husband Ryan Marshall and great grandson Eddie; granddaughter Vanessa Bennett and her husband Darryl Bennett. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Parker was predeceased by sisters Sallie Marshall and Jean Wilson.

Arrangements – A celebration of Mrs. Parker’s life will be held on Thursday, January 13, 2022, at 11:00 A.M., at the Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Cheshire, 615 South Main Street. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions, in Jacqueline’s name, may be made to the Cheshire Women’s Club scholarship fund.
