Diane Jacobs

Woodbury, CT Diane E. Jacobs, 70, died unexpectedly on September 2, 2023 at Waterbury Hospital.

Diane was born in Waterbury, CT October 28, 1952 daughter of Jean (Shopis) McDermott and the late Jack McDermott. Diane lived in Naugatuck most of her life, graduated from Naugatuck High School and lived in Woodbury for the past 25 years.

In addition to her mother, Jean McDermott, Diane is survived by her daughter and son in law, Shelley Pinto and Keith Pinto; her sons, Thomas Buonocore and David Curtis; her grandson, Malakai Pinto; her brothers, Paul McDermott, Mark McDermott, Kevin McDermott, Christopher McDermott and many nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, September 8, 2023 at 11:00am at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 318 Church Street, Naugatuck. Everyone attending is kindly asked to please meet directly at church. Burial will follow in St. James Cemetery, Cross Street, Naugatuck. A calling hour will be Friday from 9:30am to 10:30am at the Buckmiller Thurston Mengacci Funeral Home, 82 Fairview Avenue, Naugatuck.
