It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Howard Alan Leafe, who departed this life peacefully on September 23, 2026, at the age of 85. He was the beloved husband of Brenda (Maleman) Leafe. Born on May 30, 1941, in Boston, Massachusetts to the late J. Richard and Lee (Halpern) Leafe, Howard lived a life full of passion and dedication.

 He spent his final years in Hamden, Connecticut, where he was surrounded by the warmth of family and friends. Howard was a talented and industrious professional, known for his contributions as an Industrial Engineer at both Timex and Pratt & Whitney. He later pursued his entrepreneurial spirit by owning CT Print in Cheshire, where he continued to make an impact in his community. With a Master's Degree in business, Howard's intellect and work ethic earned him respect among his peers and a lasting legacy. Beyond his professional achievements, Howard was a devoted member of Temple Beth David in Cheshire, where he found joy and connection within his community. He valued relationships and cherished moments spent with family, friends, and colleagues. 

In addition to his wife, Brenda, Howard is survived by his brother-in-law, Barry Aframe; niece, Jocelyn Aframe; nephew, Derek Aframe; and cousins, Donald and Carol Albert and Stan Fienstein; along with many other family members. In reflecting on his life, we honor Howard's unwavering spirit and the kindness he shared with those around him. As we say goodbye to Howard, we take solace in the love he gave us, the lessons he taught, and the lasting impact he will have on our lives. May he rest in eternal peace.

A Memorial Service in celebration of Howard’s life will be held on Sunday, September 27, 2026 at 3:30PM at Temple Beth David, 3 Main Street, Cheshire, CT 06410. Burial will be held privately. Shiva will be held at Howard and Brenda’s home on Monday, September 28th and Tuesday, September 29th from 7PM until 9PM.
