Helene S. Ganezer

Southington - Helene S. Ganezer, 59, passed away on Thursday, July 24, 2025, at Water’s Edge Rehabilitation. She was the devoted wife of Lawrence Ganezer.

Helene Ganezer was born January 14, 1966, in Hartford, the daughter of the late Marvin and Arlene (Blum) Gittleman and the sister of the late David Gittleman. She grew up in Plainville, CT, where she attended the local schools. She graduated from Tunxis Community College with an Associate’s degree. She was a Claims Associate for Allstate Insurance Company.

Besides her husband, Lawrence of 33 years, Helene Ganezer is survived by her daughters, Michaela and Marissa Ganezer; as well as her sister Lisa Gittleman. Helene was a loving, kind, and compassionate woman who always had a story to tell. She was a devoted dance mom for her girls, and she loved going to the beach with her family.

Arrangements – Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 29th, 2025, at the Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Cheshire, 615 South Main St., at 10 am. Burial will follow in the Hebrew Benefit Cemetery in Waterbury, CT. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society by clicking here. Shiva will be observed on Tuesday through Thursday from 5 to 9 pm at 47 Woodberry Hill Drive in Southington.
