Naugatuck - Robin Ann Fogarty passed away unexpectedly at St. Mary’s Hospital on Sunday, March 10, 2019.
Robin was born in Waterbury, on December 13, 1955, the daughter of Lorraine (Wisinski) Fogarty and the late Edward Fogarty.

Robin was a graduate of Naugatuck High School and volunteered as a candy striper with the dreams of becoming a nurse. She attended Naugatuck Community College and later graduated from the nursing program at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Nashua, New Hampshire. She then worked at Waterbury Hospital followed by many years of in home care.

Robin had many close friends and spent many years taking ski trips to Vermont and summer vacations to Cape Cod.

Robin leaves her mother of Naugatuck; her brother, Kevin and wife Peggy of Waterbury; niece, Lauren and husband Gary of West Hartford; nephew, Sean and wife Emily of Waterbury; niece, Erin of Essex; niece, Meghan of Watertown; and, her Uncle Frank and Aunt Joann Wisinski of Portsmouth, New Hampshire. She was predeceased by her father, Ed in December, 2018.

Calling hours will be held on Friday, March 15, 2019 from 5 to 7p.m. at the Buckmiller Thurston Mengacci Funeral Home, 82 Fairview Avenue, Naugatuck, CT. In lieu of flowers, donations in Robin’s memory can be made to: Animals for Life, PO Box 1481, Naugatuck, CT 06770.
