Middlebury-Margaret Ann (Kleinz) Flickinger formerly of Bethany passed away peacefully at the Middlebury Convalescent Home in Middlebury on October 21, 2013.
She was born in Philadelphia, PA on October 23, 1919 daughter of the late William and Christina Kleinz. She was a wonderful, loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother, affectionately called "Nan" by all who knew her. She was a longtime congregant of the St. Vincent Ferrer Church in Naugatuck.
She was preceded in death by her husband John Flickinger to whom she was married for over 60 years. She was also preceded in death by her daughter Marjorie Joy (Koroluk) O’Brien in 2011.
Margaret is survived by her daughter Janis Ann Petrillo and her fiancée John Salerno of Fort Meyer FL. She is also survived by four grandchildren and their spouses, Kimberly (Koroluk) Clement and her husband Ron of Bethlehem, David Koroluk of St. Augustine, FL, William Petrillo of New Haven and Jonathan Petrillo and his wife Patti of Jamestown , R I. Her six great- grandchildren, Nicole Johnson of New Milford, Jennessa Guajardo of New Bern NC, Amanda Morin of Bethlehem, Alexis Koroluk of Las Vegas NV, Maxwell Petrillo and Ryan Petrillo of Jamestown, RI. Her three great-great grandchildren, Connor Johnson, Skylar Nash and Alexander Guajardo.
The funeral will be held on Friday, October 25, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Vincent Ferrer Church, New Haven Rd, Naugatuck. Everyone is asked to meet directly at the church. Entombment will be in Calvary Garden Mausoleum in Waterbury. There are no calling hours and the Buckmiller Brothers Funeral Home, 26 Waterbury Rd, Rte. 69, Prospect is in charge of the arrangements.
