Eulalia Cabeleira Pires

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Eulalia Cabeleira Pires, 63, who departed this world on October 18, 2026, in Cheshire, CT. Born on February 2, 1963, in Chaves, Portugal, to Teresa (Cabeleira) Pires and the late Domingos Pires. Eulalia, better known to friends and family as Lolly, brought joy and laughter wherever she went. She was a fun, vibrant spirit who truly loved life, spending quality time with her family, and sharing unforgettable moments over breakfast outings, mini-golf adventures, bowling, movie nights, or just playing board games and dominoes. Lolly also found peace in nature, often enjoying hikes or walks on the beach and challenging her mind with puzzles and trivia.

Lolly was a strong woman, having bravely battled and overcome breast cancer. She was known for her strong opinions, but her heart was even bigger. Always ready to lend a helping hand, she would put others before herself. Passionate about food, she loved cooking for family and friends and didn’t shy away from rocking out to her favorite tunes.

She leaves behind her loving family, including her mother, Teresa Pires, brother, Fernando Pires, sister, Maria Martins, niece, Alexandra Martins, nephew, Daniel Martins, nephew, Alexander, and great nephew, Louie. Along with her father Domingos, Eulalia was predeceased by her brother, Alcides Pires and sister, Maria João Pires.

Lolly will be deeply missed by all who knew her. She touched the lives of many with her kindness, generosity, infectious laugh, and unforgettable spirit.

Funeral services in celebration of Eulalia’s life will be held at Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Cheshire, 615 South Main Street, Cheshire, CT on Saturday, November 14, 2026, at 12:30 PM, with visitation taking place beforehand from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Burial will be held privately.
