Elaine C. Giamette

Elaine Carol Giamette, 77, of Cheshire, passed away peacefully on October 17, 2023. Elaine was born on February 19, 1946 in New Haven, CT to the late Harold Gerald Schlank and Frances Pauline Grammatico Schlank.

Elaine immensely loved her family and her grandson and attended all his baseball games. She had a great sense of humor. Elaine enjoyed her annual trip with her friends Pam and Liz to New York to see a Broadway show, followed by dinner at Ruth Chris Steakhouse. Elaine was a lifetime NY Giants fan. She loved to cook and cherished living by the beach until she moved in 2018. Her cat, Cookie, held a special place in her heart.

Elaine leaves behind her daughter, Jackelyn Elaine Bishop and her husband, Michael; grandson, Sean Michael Bishop; brother, Harold Schlank (Donna Schlank); niece and nephews, Elaine Delahant, Sean Delahant (Julia Delahant) and David Delahant (Suzie and James Delahant). She was predeceased by her son, Joshua John Giamette; brother in-law, James Delahant; and sister, Geraldine Delahant.
