MERIDEN – Eileen Vieira, 76, passed away peacefully Friday, May 8, 2020, at Silver Springs Care Center in Meriden.
Eileen was born June 28, 1943, in Newark, NJ the daughter of the late Frank and Adelaide (Perry) Vieira. She was a longtime resident of Naugatuck where she graduated from Naugatuck High School class of 1961 and was later employed with Uniroyal Chemical. She loved to travel and spent many summers at the beaches on Cape Cod listening to music.
Eileen is survived by her daughters Anna Brothers of Newington, CT and Lisa Sue Smedberg of Falmouth, MA; her brothers Frank Vieira and his wife Florence, John Vieira and his wife Barbara; her sisters Dolores Ballantyne, Marie Racevicius and her late husband Harry and Joann Pace. In addition she leaves behind several nieces and nephews.
Arrangements – A memorial service will be held at a future date. The Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Naugatuck is assisting with arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to Mental Health Connecticut www.mhconn.org.
