Beacon Falls- Edward (Ed) P. Siemenski, 82, passed away peacefully at his home on Friday, September 12, 2024. He was the husband of Lurana Siemenski.
Ed was born February 7, 1943, in Derby, the son of the late Frank and Theresa (Bachinsky) Siemenski. He was raised in Beacon Falls and attended Naugatuck High School. Upon finishing high school, Ed enlisted in the Marine Corps and served for four years. He continued on to work as a machinist at Bronson Company before retiring with Denominator. He was a past member of Beacon Hose Company #1 and a Lion’s Club member. He was recently awarded Knights of the Blind by the Lion’s Club.
Everyone who knew Ed would tell you about his love for the outdoors, especially his cabin in Wurtsboro, NY at the Old Timers Rod and Gun Club. He enjoyed vacationing on the Salt Pond in Charlestown, Rhode Island with his family and close friends. He loved spending his free time hunting, fishing, and woodworking when he was not with his family.
Besides his wife of 60 years and 10 months, Ed is survived by his children Jodi DiZazzo and John (Michele) Siemenski; his grandchildren Michael (Dana) McGee, Matt (Ashley) Rau, Adam (Jordan) Siemenski, Chris McGee, Jaime DiZazzo, and Jen DiZazzo; and his great-grandchildren Lilly, Cece, and Wyatt. He is predeceased by his daughter, Beth McGee, and his brother Joseph Siemenski.
Arrangements- Visitation for Ed will be held on Wednesday, September 17, 2025, from 5 pm to 7 pm at the Buckmiller Ford Mengacci Funeral Home at 82 Fairview Ave in Naugatuck. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Michael Church in Beacon Falls on Thursday, September 18, 2025, at 10 am. Friends are asked to meet directly at the church. Burial will follow at St. James Cemetery in Naugatuck. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Michael Church at 25 Maple Avenue, Beacon Falls, CT 06403.
