Edward James Plank Sr.

WATERBURY- Edward James Plank Sr., 73, passed away Friday December 4, 2020 at his residence. He was the loving husband of Constance “Connie” Marie (Layden) Plank who he was married to for 45 years.

Mr. Plank was born January 8, 1947 in Waterbury son of the late Raymond and Dorothy Plank.
Edward was a veteran proudly serving in the United States Army from 1968 to 1970. While in the army Mr. Plank received the Vietnam Campaign Medal, National Defense Service Medal, and the Vietnam Service Medal. He was a Water Safety Operator for The United Illuminating Company prior to his retirement.

Mr. Plank is survived by his two sons Edward Jr. and his wife Danaris Plank and Michael Plank all of Waterbury; siblings Barbara Grey of Florida, Sharon Theibult of Thomaston, and Raymond Plank of Waterbury; and five step grandchildren Richard, Kim, Ashley, Michelle, and Jenny.

All services for Edward will be private. The Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Waterbury, 496 Chase Ave, 06704 is assisting the family with the arrangements.
