Edward A. Adamaitis

WATERBURY – Edward A. Adamaitis, 92, passed away on Monday, October 4,2021 at Apple Rehab Watertown. He was the husband of the late Frances (Blesswell) Adamaitis.

Mr. Adamaitis was born June 13, 1929 in Waterbury, son of the late Dominic and Susan (Ragauskas) Adamaitis. He was retired from Haydon Switch and Instruments where he worked as Production Control Manager. Edward loved polka dancing and the music of Ray Henry, Jimmy Sturr, and Rich Bobinski. He also enjoyed the Polka Festivals and picnics at Warsaw Park.

Mr. Adamaitis is survived by his daughter, Lynn, and her husband, Thomas Prue, of Cheshire. In addition to his wife of 35 years, he was predeceased by his brothers; Charles, George, and Peter Adamaitis, and his sister, Mary (Adamaitis) Rasmussen. He also leaves behind his long-time companion, Helen Ptak, of Ansonia.

Arrangements – Services for Mr. Adamaitis will be private and burial will be at the convenience of his family.
